about Edmantha
My real name is Elizabeth Hall.
I use my deceased brother’s name, Edmantha Hall, as my pen name.
I am a retired engineer, born in Texas but have lived in various states throughout my working career. I enjoy hiking, backpacking, writing, and traveling around the globe. I am dyslexic and legally blind.
Over the years my work required me to write technical documents. When I began writing fiction, I found the transition very difficult. I had to write from the character’s point of view, bring both protagonist and antagonists alive with sounds and emotions, while avoiding the use of passive voice.
